either they're both the same bud as long as they are G cams, but will be going in my 2.5

the spare cams i have are from a 2.5. they are marked up GC.

they all have GC on them mate.

if you look at the end where the pulley goes you'll see some small writing, its a capital letter like A, E, F, G, J followed by a number or two such as A1, G4 etc, take a look at the following pics to know what i mean bud.

No they arent, they are interchangeable but not the same. The 3litre cams in your 2.5 will liberate approx another 20bhp.Downside is they are therefore usually more expensive to buy than 2.5 cams, and your Ins. company will probably want moe money from you.

thats what i meant mate, i didn't mean exactly the same or i wouldn't be asking for G cams, my standard E's and F's would do.

i do have 3.0l cams but im keeping them for a re-build. sorry. thats why i asked in the first place. ;)

.........if you're after more horses from new cams in a 2.5 V6 then you'll need all 4 from a 3 litre V6.

Putting in the 'G's' only doesn't work.
Do you have the other 2?

i've already got 2x G's mate, was going to put A's in to take it up to vec GSI spec but decided to put 4x G's in for the extra little bit torque they'll produce
