Update, now have 3.0 engine for sale see reply thread below £300 incl box its very quick and uptogether.

Irmscher grille - near brand new, in box, in black (not chrome surround), complete with genuine irmscher instructions and branded box from the i-line range - try finding a new one of these now!

3.0 MV6 Engine for sale,

removed from ex police saloon, it had £7500 of service history from the keeper who had it for about 10 years, since the police, was a green covert car, i had this engine removed and ready to put in the ute, but changed plans, there is nothing wrong with it, recent rocker gaskets, cambelt 25k ago, no problems with the cooling system, whilest it was out, it had a seeping oil cooler cover, so i have re-fitted oil cooler and re-sealed the top with another plate and bolts, so thats all done too.

no known faults, went like a b*$tard!, we have the ecu key chip and the barrel sensor for it also.

Aircon pump etc...

£300 incl the manual box all on a pallet ready to load into car boot / van etc...

clearance to clear!

i have a video of it running.

Is it because you wanted it done quickly and for whatever reason that hasn't happened?
I'm just plodding along with mine, hoping it will be ready for next spring.

im gonna chop a 54 plate police estate, doing all the work on a pre facelift is too time consuming, need to spend about 3k on it to complete it, therefore makes sense use a new one.
easier, even now, to do a propper job on a 54/53 than to pull this T reg up to 54 style inside and out. engine bed and wiring, interior etc...

could buy and do a newer one less than finishing this one

the ute is gone, i will do a 53 plate later in the year, today i build a vw camper van using a cheap old J reg T4, and a scrap caravan, coat of paint this weekend and got a realy tidy surf bus!,
