Hi
I have a problem with dodgy crimp connection of the starter/ alternator cable to the battery terminal (+). Cable has been overheating back about 5".

I would like a short piece of the starter cable, about 10" to 12" so I can crimp lugs on to join and replace the burnt part.

Can anyone help please.

Hiya Mate, I have a piece of battery cable, it's around a meter long and has a battery terminal clamp at one end and a 20 m.m. (o.d.) ring connector on the other end...
I think it's the cable from the battery to the alternator (120 amp jobbie, so cable should be good for a few amps)
