i have problems trying to start this car.it will start after 2 or 3 tries but the alarm goes off for about 10 minutes.does anybody know what this is and how do i go about fixing it

When I bought my 2.6 it had one dead cell in the battery.

It was sluggish to turn over (but usually started first time) and often triggered the power sounder (due the voltage drop) while it was cranking.

It sounds to me as though your battery is in a worse state than mine was.
