Title: any one know??????? Post by greenfingers 79 on 17. Jan 2011 at 18:41
1st thing is which is the fuse for the internal boot release button to the right of the stereo and the swithch for im guessing at best, getting out the car and leaving a light on?"has a stick man on the front?"
and secondly is there a fuse located inside the bose amp as i dont think mine is working. front speakers in car alot louder than the rear which i thought would be the other way round as i think its a sub woofer where the rear blind is and amp is located under the parcell shelf and looks a right old ball ache to get out. the car is a 51 plate 2.2dti saloon elite thank you :y |

There's no speaker by the rear blind. it's just a vent for the trunk. the amp there is for the radio antenna.

so where is the amp?
sure looks like one under the parcel shelf to me and why would the rear speakers be so much quieter than the front? |

The boot release needs a looooong press of the button to release the boot. :-/ The button with a man running away from 3 curved lines is to turn the interior sonics off for the alarm so you can leave you dog (I won't say kids after the last 'discussion' we had here about doing so ::)) in there when you lock & arm the car. :y |

aha i knew someone would know what that switch was :y
to be honest ive been locking the car via the rear drivers side door foor feer of that bloody power sounder going off radomly anoying the nieghbours! recently its benn beeping a few times quietly when i remove the key from the ignition and get out the car which is quite annoying, whats the best way to test the alternators working propperly as recently had to buy a very expensive bosch 90 amp battery |

The antenna amplifier (on a saloon) is screwed to the top of the structural metal parcel shelf. A second (fibre) parcel shelf sits on top and keeps it hidden. The Bose amplifier (if fitted) uses a plastic shelf screwed to the underside of the parcel shelf. |

This may sound silly but have you adjusted the fader control to rear to make the speakers louder there?
