My bonnet wont pop open. I pull the lever in the car all the way back and can hear it clicking under the hood but it doesn't pop up. It's only a recent issue.

Is there any other way to open it? I'm assuming it'll probably just need a clean, lube and adjust once open.

Get a friend/neighbour/complete stranger off the street to push the front of the bonnet down as you pull the lever, it should pop. Make sure you adjust the cable before you close it again though :y

In extreme cases if it won't pop up by by pushing down on the bonnet you may need to pull it up as well. Mind the bonnet though it dents easy?
