As above - when I go to unlock my car it will unlock and then lock again straight away. Have stripped door card out and it is still the same - guessing the motor is knackered? (any other suggestions welcome)

If anyone has one I would like to try and get the new one put in this weekend.

Have you tried it with the bit that covers the part you push down to lock the car removed...I have a feeling you might find its just the door lock jamming, might be one of the other doors jamming though...central locking is controlled by the drivers door...if the car feels too much resistance when trying to unlock the doors it will lock up again...

But other option of course would be that the door lock solenoid is on its way out and too weak to unlock the door mechanism...I do have one here if you need one...

Thanks for the reply - I have stripped it down as far as removing all of the mechanism leaving just the rod floailing around on its own and it is better this way but still unlock/locks about 50% of the time.

If you have one then please let me know the details and I will most liely have it off you (some guidance in how it comes out would be handy too!)
