Hi all,back again,
can anyone shed any light on the problem i have with my front suspension.
I have a knocking sound on the drivers side. Have changed the ball joint, but this has done nothing at all to stop the knocking.
Anyone with any ides please :-/

Have you changed the anti roll bar link rod????

Had the same on my ex-plod and it was the track rod end. Not to much play in it to start the knocking. Hope this helps :y

No joff, have only changed the ball joint, and as for the anti roll bar link,is that the vertical bar? smokingomega

Cheapest and simpliest route would be to replace both front drop link bars.

Short vertical bar running from half way up front strut to bottom.Genuine VX parts about £30=00 each but cheaper options on fleabay which have had good reports .

Simple job only taking about 30 mins a side and will hopefully be the solution ,otherwise it is /wishbones/front anti roll bar bushes or springs struts.

Go for the cheapest first.
