Hi my 1998 omega estate has just passed its MOT but with a note saying that the nearside front chassis by the steering idler mount has surface corrosion and needs attention,
How difficult is this to do? and is this the last year of my cars life?

Just give it a little rub down and Wax oil it.
Or red oxide
