Wonder if it works (other than short-term)?
If it does, I'll give you a tenner for a couple of teaspoonsful! Our 2.0 has a manifold crack that doesn't seem to leak gas, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Bought an uncracked 2nd-hand one, but the face is bowed like a banana (2-3mm end to end). Guess I could get it re-machined flat. :-/ |

Borrow a belt sander. If attacking the crack then it needs holes drilling at each end, the crack grinding out and the goo putting in. |

its a paste so if gasket has gone just paste over and around manifold simples its got to be cheaper than a garage been told it will take 3-4 hours to change gasket i know £85 a lot of money but its worth a try :y :y

Slap it on mate, Omegas are a pain in the ass to work on especially manifolds etc so patching it is fine by me anyday. Good luck :y

Surely, even for all the extra agro removing the manifold ,how could you possible get a paste to repair a leaking gasket.
If the manifold has a crack in it,you could pick up a second hand for about £20..the couple of gaskets and seals say another £20 max so the only nasty bit is then actually doing the work. Assuming this stuff sticks like sh## to a blanket and you manage to smear it allaround the manifold how would you ever remove it if it doesn,t live up to its billing and the gasket/manifold replacement is then the only cure. |

Yes but, your gonna have to strip most of what is needed to be removed to change the gasket just to get to the mainfold to 'slap it on' |
