Will be pre mini facelift so before Sept 97...

In that case, I have one here.  Will power it up and check pixels are ok then work out postage cost.

It's an R Reg, I do believe its a 97.

As said, the back of the info display takes a big plug and a small plug and has three bulbs in the back.

It doesn't say 'brakelight check' when you start the car up, it just lights up the bottom right 'check' light and goes off when you press the foot brake.

Mini facelift came in about mid Sept 97 just at the beginning of the R reg...of course there will be some cars made before mini facelift registered after that...but basically the plug on the back of the MID changed from black and yellow to a single grey one for the mini facelift models...the black and yellow plugged MID's are generally the only ones that have the pixel problem...

that's the one, just need someone with a spare lol  :y

i wonder what differences there was between the mini facelift from the original?

the head restraints in this one have holes in them

Ok, got the one off my car.  The numbers on the back are 7777-4994, GM 90379234.  It has 2 sockets on the back, a large 26 pin yellow one and a small 12 pin black one and 2 lights.

Does this sound like the one you're after?  You said yours has 3 lights, can you check?

I'm still after the LCD display.
