Title: Mondeo courtesy car. Free but no Omega.
Post by taxi al on 24. Mar 2011 at 01:19
Got me a 2 litre diseasel mondy estate as a courtesy car whilst the beast is having the front end rebuilt.

Only problem is that some ejit put an auto box in it. ::)

The engine isn't the most responsive, and the 'box has a five minute thought delay built in to it. Junctions are basically dealt with by burying you're right foot, closing your eyes and a hefty dose of wishful thinking. :-X (note to self never buy a merc sprinter with esp for much the same reason).

Won't be buying one, although a decent size. it looks like they forgot to finish the interior, and it has a stupid seatbelt buzzer thing that pings a random number of times in an intermittent fashion. >:( At least the vw ones work out that you're not putting your belt on after 100 yards or so. ::)

Also the front end is made from lego. The only obvious metal at the front end seems to be the radiator. :-/

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

PMSL twice.

29.1 mpg at the mo. Our 1.8 petrol Vectras sit at 33 mpg all day long,

Even the mig manages 26ish mpg around town with a bit of care.

Bet it's also got one of those properly stupid 'clog up as soon as look at them particulate filters' on it.

Between  those particulate filters and the cost of diesel fuel system parts, me thinks next car will also be petrol. :-/
