Hi everyone!

We are trying to find a recommended supplier of exhaust systems for our 1998 Omega Elite Saloon 3.0 V6. We need the front pipe, both middle pipes with silencers, all the mountings and the back box.

My father (Sandune) said that Eternalcars was recommended on here, but when phoning them they said that they couldn't supply the system for that model. Their ebay shop seems to sell only some of the parts we need.  :'(

Any help you can give is gratefully received!  :)

Do you mean the downpipes with the cats :question

Sorry, we're in Colchester, north-east Essex.

Sandune gave us a list of parts to ask for, but neither my partner nor I are familiar with the underside of the car!  ::)

He definitely said 'cat back', though.

Probably means by "cat back", middle & rear boxes. Are you after GM, aftermarket or S/S system?

We are as clueless as we seem! Which ever of those options is best value for money (this car is becoming quite expensive to run these days). Would that be the aftermarket?  :-?

If its cat back then Eternalcar will sell the complete system ;)

I'm sure I gave them the right make/model details. I'll try phoning again tomorrow... perhaps a different person will answer the phone. ;D

I think these are the correct ones but your best dropping them a line just to make sure

give them the ebay item numbers over the phone, or buy them all through ebay as seperate items, they will combine it as one order and give you a discount on the postage.

I just ordered a 2.0 zorst for father T, cost £76!  8-)

We had the Eternal Car eBay links checked and went ahead and ordered. My partner spotted (after buying) that one of those parts had in the small print that it was for the 3.0 estate. Eternal Cars wasn't able to supply that part for the saloon and didn't quibble about the remaining parts on the order and happily cancelled all the items :y so that we could purchase a whole system elsewhere. We went with Woody's recommendation, which should arrive in the next few days.
