MY brother has the above problem after having some work done and battery disconnected. Did the usual resetting of key fob but nothing. Central locking works fine.any ideas please?

what exactly is it / not doing?

Im guessing remote central locking not working?
but key in the door works fine (and sets of alarm?)

so, youve tried key in ignition, ignition on, and press buttons (locks go up and down if successful)?
does the led on the key (if it has one) illuminate?
is the battery in the fob ok?  does the spare work?

C locking works fine. Fob battery is new. Alarm not working at all. Which fuse could it be on?.

what happens if you press the running man button
how are you testing that its not working?

No it does not arm. C locking locks all doors fine. No indicators else or horn sound. If he leaves dog in car, no alarm pounds when car locked. Seems like there is no power to alarm. HAs It got its own fuse?

as far as I know, the alarm system would utilise the relavent fuse for the relavent part, so many fuses, not 1 single that would do it I can think of.

Do you have a code reader capable of talking to the alarm ecu?

No it does not arm. C locking locks all doors fine. No indicators flash or horn sound. If he leaves dog in car, no alarm sounds when car locked. Seems like there is no power to alarm. Has It got its own fuse?
