I have been left on my own since Wednesday - my father in law is in hospital again in Cornwall.

Just returned from 6 pints business meeting in Holborn and now eating salmon and boiled eggs for 3rd day.

Thanks  STMO - FIL situation not too good but the ups and downs of the situation does your head in a bit, brother in law is now on way back from Peru. We have all 4 parents alive in their 80s and 90s and you have to be philosophical about it all otherwise you will go barmy.

I know. My mum is 82 and she hasn't been out of the house for two years. No reason, except in her head, but I have to ring her every day because she's 'bored'. :(
