Considering a weeks camping in Euroland with mates if UK weather is crap.

I have AA breakdown cover with my bank account, but its UK only. So I rings them and ask them for cover, a single week, not towing anything in just France & Germany.

That will be £71 sir  :o :o :o

Errm, if I pay £75 to the ADAC (Europes largest breakdown company), I can get cover for an entire year!

Useless morons  >:(

my insurance company refused to budge on the extortionate increase on my new cover.  seems to be how british companies work now. they would rather you went to somewhere cheaper and lose business

You are lucky having cheaper alternatives. In Spain (with my Brit head on) I shopped around each year to find that the price is within a few percent exactly the same everywhere. Seems to be the way things are done here.

As most British companies seemed to be owned by foreign companies now maybe you will see more of the indifferent that is the price take it or leave it attitude here.

try swinton think its £50 on line and you get extras as well :y

yeah and there is others if you want to add to it like b&b etc but standard is take you to your destination i.e home or camp.

i got mine 7months ago went into there office and did on line there, must be somthing they do in office. see what you mean about the price gone up since I got mine...

I just rang swintons, they said they do not offer any separate or individual cover, for European breakdown at any time. I would have to take out a full policy, which is same link as I posted earlier.

Thanks  :y those prices look good. Very similar to ADAC, but without faffin around with their German site.
