Iv just noticed that my rev needle seems to be sticky?? when revv'd it looks like it jumps from 1k to 1.4 rpm, but once you balance it out and lets say keeping it at 2k rpm it behaves. let the pedal go and press it, it jumps up again?? would this be caused by the car sitting parked up for a while... :-X

No idea actually ;D. Is the dash seated correctly? Press it home in the middle of the glass.
