Title: code 19 paper clip test Post by blob on 07. May 2011 at 14:13
just done ppc test & got code 19
the question i need to ask is does the code clear its self when new part fitted? i changed crank sensor 2 years ago would that code still be there? |

No! Should clear after a certain number of clean starts I believe. Clear with reader to be belt n braces.
What sensor was fitted, is the car playing up? |

That's why I asked, that's either an unusually good pattern or a possibly poorly fitted genuine maybe? Is the cable away from a heat source, heat shield maybe ? Just to be overly clear, make sure the next one is genuine ;) |

when you do get a new one.. fit it yaself, guys on here advised me how and im no mechanic, but it was easy and you can run the cable where you want it, ie away from all the really hot stuff. which i believe causes the problem in the first place... i got the part off ebay . genuine part. cheaper than main dealer.just check part numbers first
