Title: fault code crankshaft?
Post by henri on 10. May 2011 at 17:50
Hi all

3 times today I have had a starting problem with the car managed to get it home and did the pedal trick, getting code 0335 which I think is crankshaft sensor. Am I right?
Could'nt have happened at a worse time as I have to take the daughter and kids to the airport Thursday not much of a prob in UK but here in jolly old France major crisis. >:( >:(

Yes, cranksensor. It will possibly let you down at the most inopportune time, and can cause the car to break down.

Mine failed, funnily enough, in France, and car came back home a couple of weeks later on a low loader.

That seems a bit extreme for a simple crank sensor failure!!

Couldn't be repaired in time, so I had to come home in hire cars.  In this case, the breakdown company simply repatriats the car.
