Title: Wanted Cooling Fan for 96 2.0 16v no a/c
Post by Skint on 15. May 2011 at 18:38
Hi I need a Radiator Cooling Fan for a 2.0 16v 1996 saloon with no air-conditioning ASAP, willing to collect within a reasonable distance of Bristol (say 20 miles).

The fan currently fitted is marked 90449244 / YK Bosch 0130304234.

I will accept a compatible fan if any exist.

I have also put out requests elsewhere to obtain this unit.

Regards

Alex

Hm no joy so far locally, has any one got one nationally?

Does anyone know how cross compatable the different electric fans are?

Thanks for your response.

I looked at a couple of V6s in the scrappers and they appear to have incompatable plugs (larger, 3 pins I think, plusthey had some form of electro mechanical thermo reactive mech attached to the back of the socket).

On the way out of the yard I glanced down and noticed a radiator with A3 marked on it (Audi ?) but I thought that looks familiar, well the fan cowel off this rad and its socket fitted straight onto my radiator and fan plug.  :y

So job done!

Alex
