hi all.. me again...
drove car this morning and it sounded strange from the off, then flashed up automatic gearbox check. pulled over. put in park turned off engine. started again and it was then fine. did paper clip test and NO fault codes...
any ideas please...
i was thinking and hoping it only needs gear oil change ?

your probably right - low fluid.

may just be a one off..

could also be solenoid on its way out etc.

a code read (with proper capable codereader) will tell you the fault logged.

is the solenoid an easy thing to change and where is it...please..will get fluid checked and changed.. if it was low i would think gear box would run rough ,but is smoothish and not any different from a year ago when i got car..thanks
