hi.. just picked up genuine back box for my car. only thing is its twin exit piped, guessing its for the 3lt ..will it fit my car... it was a bargain so had to have it... thanks

Had to fit a 3 Lit back box to new eternal car exhaust system on the Estate, as they could only supply twin outlet 3 lit box .  Fitted OK but you need to ensure your "new" back box is for Estate and not saloon!!

Edit, mines a saloon though, not sure if that makes a difference. :-/

Yes it will fit :y Same box just twin outlet on the 3.0 which is considered more sporty

I used to have the 2.5 and it came with a 3.0 back box fitted. I then changed it when it needed to be for another just the same but had to insist at the exhaust place that that was what I wanted. The rest of the system remained as 2.5 though so there are no problems you will have .
The 'benefit', if it is one is that the tone of the exhaust becomes lower and sounds better.

I did buy a mini facelift with a stainless exhaust which stuck pasted the bumper. When I removed it whole, then fitted it too my facelift, it fitted perfectly. I would imagine there must be some difference perhaps in length between a mini face & facelift too.
