Hubby as just finished fitting the new cam cover gaskets and plugs,just fired it up and its still very lumpy >:(

Plug leads/dispack are the next suspects in the HT chain. ;)

Cant tell by looking afaik.Soaking in oil causes them to break down and in turn damages the dispack.A set of Bosch leads can be had for around £40, and if that doesnt cure it a new dispack is next on the list.

Ah I see, hes taken the car out for a blast this morning and over 5,000 revs it seem to run fine but anything under that it runs lumpy again..Going to see if we can get some leads today,thanks very much for your help much appreciated. :) Angie x |

Went to Halfords and they didn't have any ht leads in stock for the V6.Going to order some online,any recommendations who to use?

Have a look on ebay.Can usually get a set of Bosch or similar for around £40. :y
