Title: Sub framme bushes alignment Post by Robin Hood on 28. Aug 2011 at 12:49
When the maintenance guide talks of the solid part of the bush to the sides and slots to front and back – is this aligned/square to the car or the sub-frame arm (45 degrees to the car)?
The front of the bushes I’ve just removed pointed along the sub frame and so where at 45 degrees to the wheels. Thanks |

The guide needs updating, although Jimbob has added an amendment iirc. Re fit as the originals, so solid section in line with the dif/inline with the subframe as you say.

Thanks for reply though I’ve done it the other way now. :-[
My reasoning - if the sub frames arms were independent they would hinge in line with the arms but as they are linked, I assumed they would have to hinge in line with the car. :-/ |
