Post by stevew43 on 30. Aug 2011 at 10:03
hi how hard is it to replace the rocker covers i had the gaskets done and all oil and filters plugs and breathers cleaned on to find that the rocker cover had warped so got new ones and have been let down by my mechanic im not to bad with spanners basic level only so want to know if there are any major head aches to look out for while doing this job

You will need a small torque wrench which is capable of tightening to 8nm - which isnt much more than finger tight.
Overtightening is the thing which will warp the covers. :y
