emptying the reservoir once a week now so time to bite the bullet this weekend.
how much is the housing and the other bit that breaks?? |

starts higher up, cam seals need doing as well..

I would get it all stripped to the thermostat but not remove it. Block off the water pipes, then put the water system under pressure you will be sure then where your leak is :y

sounds like a plan, water pipes being the throttle heater pipes. |

Yes mate :y either bolts in the end then clamp them, or a couple of pieces of flat clamping the ends works too. Pressurise up to about 10lb then watch out for the leak... :y Thats what I would do anyway ;) |
