Just to confirm that for a radio decode it needs to be obtained from dealer.

The original radio code can be obtained from Vauxhall, which of course would be of no use to you if the radio has been changed at some time. DaveDND will be able to to sort you out for a code for your current radio.
The advantage of the Car Pass from Vauxhall is that you also get the key & immobiliser code for your car ........ again assuming that nobody has been there before you.  ;)

Have the key pass but as the radio that was in the car was code cancelled mode not needed, have been given a new radio as a sort of upgrade but no code, not fitted it yet but can always hope that it is code locked but chance of 2 are faint.

Vauxhall code fee is £30 +vat here in Glos

Dealer quite happy to do code even if it is not orginal radio, they said that as people change radios all the time it would be a poor service if they could not get codes, all they need is the serial number and your money.
