Title: NCDR1100, CID, CDC3 programming
Post by teckynou on 09. Sep 2011 at 15:51
Hi.
I apologize if my english is not good.

I have a NCDR1100 and a CID which are paired together, and come from an astra G. CID identifier is KK.
I aad to this configuration a CDC3 TA, and i convert it in TB with a dump found on the internet. it works, but i have CDC safe... of course, the CDC3 is not paired to the NCDR/CID.

now, i'm going to put it in a vectra B.
so i need your help. i see in this forum some people who can do that.

1) I don't have the car pass of the astra, so I want to decrypt the security code with the CID and the NCDR1100 dump (dump available)
2) I want to paired my CDC3.
3) i'm looking for the configuration of the CID : code index, wheel size. adress? is it crypt?
4) vectra B normally have a CID KH, not KK or KJ. the first difference is mechanical. my KK is smaller. the 3 metal plate is on the bottom edge on the KK ans at the to edge in the KH. so the display is up side down. it's not a problem for me : I open my CID, cut the good copper root, et pull it to the 0V, and now, the display is in the good side. but normally, it should be done by software. I think a bit in th 93C56 give the the screen orientation. which one is it????

i have the dump of my NCDR110, CDC3 and CID.

thanks for your help.

Sadly, I doubt anyone here knows how to retrieve the pairing code from the HU or CID.  My attack method is via CDC3, which is no good to you.

Whatever, you'll need a tech2 to set all the configs. Dumps from the CID are unreliable unless you lift the chip IME.  Config locations seem to vary in NCDx depending on board revisions.

If you do find locations for pairing codes, I'm sure I'd love to know ;)

I'm guessing you're not UK, so I can't offer Tech2 to you.

Only other thing I can think of is getting a blank dump on the CID to depair it, a blank dump on the NCDR (or swap the front board from a depaired NCDC201x or NCDR1x00), and getting an Opel dealer to repair the lot.  I can assist in what they need to do if you go down that route.

He means that you have to physically remove the chips from the board for a correct reading of the dump, as if read in circuit can contain some very innaccurate data.

:-X

that's what I done!

I remove the 93C56 form the CID, read it with an universal programmer at my office, then resolder it.

all my dump have been done by this way.

PS : i'm an electronic engineer.

You will be able to get security code for units you got from astra from the serial number etched into the side of the stereo from your local opel/vaux dealer.

but I must pay for that [smiley=thumbdown.gif]
of course, this is not realy expensive, but security code + programming the CDC3 + programaming the CID + .... is expensive!

that's why I'm trying to do it myself.

Nope, not for NCDx units, as the code isn't hard coded.  It could be anything.

Thats why we've invested so much time, money, and broken CIDs (bugger, bugger, double bugger) etc, in decoding them ;)
