P0170 Fuel trim malfunction bank 1
P0173 Fuel trim malfunction bank 2

I have the above codes stored in my ecu EML is on done a quick check on tis as it happened as i was leaving work and everyone wanted to go home so couldn`t finish from what i had a chance to read its either
Air leak
Air mass meter
Lambda sensors
Or highly unlikely ecu
anyone had these codes before? are they common?
Its a 2001 2.6 Mv6 auto

Hope work is quiet tomomrow so can have a play with tech two  :)

Don't know that one..............is it Vauxhall only????
Does it have a parts counter  or is it just a garage??
Is it down the side of the Bill by the warehouses somewhere? :-/

Its next to the studios litteraly you will see the signs were right at the end of the ally way were vauxhall saab alfa fiat and chevy i am a vauxhall/saab tech in training for gold status.
Yes we do have a parts counter so if you need any parts i can usually get cost plus 10% for mates etc. :y :y
Alot of people don`t know were there as the num ducks don`t advertise the fact >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I thought i have never seen them in the phone book.
Can you PM me there parts counter phone number as i am often getting parts for cars ( Part time trade )

If it happened at idle then I would say sticky egr. If it happened under acceleration then I suspect low fuel pressure...try a new fuel filter.
