Any of you guys tow a horse box with the meega? Just that this Sat want to take two horses in a trailer to beach for wifey. They are not massive horses - about 14 hands high.

Have a chunky tow bar & 3.0 MV6

Any thoughts?

My mums was around 1 Ton, most horses tend to be around that.

Always been my argument about getting a motorbike, she had a horse that weight about 1 ton, does 30 mph flat out and has no brakes, but can i have a motorbike...NO!  Grin

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Asda have a national price, currently 93.9p

Alas, Brackley, being in the arse end of nowhere, only has a Tescos and a BP.  Hence 99.9p  Angry

I plan to work around Brackey area after uni, maybe Northampton or Milton Keynes. Soon as i start earning and do a larger millage LPG is a serious  thought, its 49p a litre at the BP Garage here. And its usefull having a LPG garage so close.

The worry is if they start taxing lpg more....

My mates Dad has a filler so he can use the orange propane tanks to fill.  Souldn't be hard to make/get.

Also out of interest, when I lived in Mexico, I've seen lot of mopeds with the camping Gaz bottles bungeed on the back seat, as well as some cars which strapped the propane tanks on the roof - 3 tanks could get you over 1000 miles without taking up any boot space!  A good idea untill you crash.
