Omega Owners Forum - Cruise Control Upgrade

As mine is a 97P would I need to do many mods to get it to work. Any responses would be most appreciated. Cheers in advance Roy

I may go ahead with the upgrade, I know where I can get my hands on a stalk but the rest I shall have to have a look about for.

Would you say this is a mod worth having reason why I ask is I dont really do alot of motorway driving.

Been thinking about it myself and the only times I have been on the motorway as of late I have been stuck in traffic, may give this a miss for the moment.

Nice to know it can be done but I think I will wait.

I never use mine on the motorway, but in 30 or 40 limits, stick it on and you don't have to worry about your speed creeping up, which in an Omega is hard to notice.

Jul 2006 at 13:35 It's a seperate box AFAIK, but I'm happy to be proved wrong. The later models were controlled by the engine ECU, but IIRC, there's another ECU to control the actuator.
