Feeling Sluggish
25. Jul 2006 at 06:58

Hi Folks. I'm beginning to notice a bit of sluggishness in the acceleration of the old omega.  When cold it goes like a rocket but after some time, when its really warmed up, if you put your foot down it is very slow to pickup almost to the point of labouring.  Any suggestions.

Has anyone ever come across vacuum pipes that are blocked? If you disconnect one end should you be able to suck or blow through it? Mine all appear to be connected properly as per the posted diagram How do you test them?

Sluggish is a good word to describe performance. next service not due yet.

Maybe your cat's are collapsing.

I had a Mondeo that was sluggish to say the least. Turned out the cat's were blocking the exhaust.
