Aug 2006 at 21:04 I think Mark was referring to switching-off the firewall feature available on some DSL routers, and not to a software product running on your PC such as the Windows XP sp2 firewall or the Norton 2005 firewall (or the ZoneAlarm firewall etc etc...).

Altho its not mentioned in the menus on the router im pretty certain its NAT only.....altho a review site...TOM's says this....

From the trouble that I had running the QCheck UDP streaming tests, however, I'd say that the product is mostly NAT based, but with some SPI going on.

Mines a cheap cheerfull Linksys WRT54G
