Radiator Problems
07. Aug 2006 at 09:57

Have been fighting a losing battle, basically since about a week ago my rad has had a slow trickle and on further delving found a small crack in the rad at the top near the top pipe.

The car is driveable and the temperature is ok, I just need to top the bottle up every so often. Angry

Now I have been recommended europarts to be the cheapest.

If anyone else has any further sugestions as to where to get a new part it would be most appreciated.

I would also recommend Autovaux, they are well priced and there delivery times are unbelievable! I ordered a headgasket set from them at 4:15 one evening and it arrived the following morning!

Every time I've ordered, they have done free delivery. Probably because my orders are always 'worthwhile'

You could also try Serck Marston.

They have branches all over the UK and i've found them to be really cheap in the past.  Smiley

Their number should be in the book.

I dont rate the serck rads, have found them to be of poor quality most of the time.

Dont forget www.buypartsby.co.uk , they sell Valeo rads which are original equipment (and cheaper than autovaux).

Plus this item is still pricey so watch out for a breaker to....
