if yours is a 2.0 then your DIS pack is much easier to take off, its exposed at teh back of the engine.....

Just behind the black plug cover (says Ecotec on it)

Engine looks the same as mine, when I come to do the Dis I will probably remove the bigger section of scuttle, like others have said it does look like you can swing a cat in there.

I cant say I have tried standing between the rad and engine but it does look possible with the engine tray removed.  Grin

Took her for a drive today across town.....

Good news is she seems okay. No misfire (Touch wood, obviously the dash is not good for this, I said wood, not printed plastic, still looks nice though), and is pulling like she once did.

But, has developed a few little niggles, that may have been overlooked due to the misfire.....

Amazingly simple. The polo had Breaker points in the Dizzy!

At that age I doubt the Polo even had servo brakes......its how VW got a name for relaibility, they had no features on them!

Sorry mate,

Wasnt bitching, just all I got was the eBay say you are no longer registered when I tried to leave you positive.

Sorry to hear about the account, I had my PayPal account hijacked a few years ago.

Best of luck with it, and with the DIS Pack.

What year is yours? then I can start looking for you too.

There is often an early V6 in my local scrappies with a Cambelt failure
