Zafira and Corsa are not CAN, nor is Astra-G.  I think the only CAN are Vectra-C/Signum and Astra-H

Sorry, maybe I'm using the wrong terminolgy. The point I was trying to make is the ECU talks to the body control unit that in turn talks to the intrument control unit on single channels, i.e. there is no single feed for engine speed, coolant temperature that I can give to the bogo dash in the omega.

I've just been on the phone to a KWP2000 interface supplier, he assures me I can read and write the map to a M1.5.5 with the KWP protocol.. lets see what happens  Smiley

I think Omega gets speed from ABS unit, rpm from motronic, dunno about temp.

Road speed shouldnt be an issue hopefully then.. Dont suppose you know if the engine speed output on the simtec is 1 pulse per revolution? if so I can substitute that with the firing signal for a single cylinder .
