Nice japanese car!

I had the privillege to test drive my mates new aquisition, a 1999 Honda accord typeR. What a car much better than i expected with an engine that made you smile when it reaches its powerband. I was quiet happy to discover that the power is quiet progressive and that the very low gearing makes you feel that there is always enough torque present. brilliant car overall. Funny bit that at idle and up to 2k rpm it sounds exactly like the old civic 1.3.

Aug 2006 at 22:14 Yup, both AR/Rover. One broke a camshaft (can't blame rover for that), other had an electronics failure (which honda knew about and fixed FOC, rover didn't (so she nicked me the part))

You've just solved the auto v manual debate. Buy a manual and just drive it round in 3rd all day Grin
