Hi Guys

New member from cavweb. Just bought a 99 'S' plate V6 2.5 CD in flame red. 154k miles and £900. Large amounts of history but no cambelt change listed. First job on the list along with oil and filter.

Has a slight problem. Cuts out randomly and sometimes hard to start.

Still, its a brilliant car.

Look forward to chatting.

Welcome Cheesy

You may want to post your starting/cutting out in the problem section for better exposure, but in meantime, do a 'paperclip test' (do search)

Hello and welcome.

If your checks come up clean on the paperclip test my guess would be a crank sensor.
