Hi everyone,

Having viewed the site on many occasions, I finally got round to joining.

I bought an Omega saloon Facelift, V Reg (year 2000) 2.5td CD Auto around 2 months ago. Having never owned a vauxhall of any description in my 22 years of driving, I have been pleased with the level of comfort and the smooth drive. There seems to be plenty of grunt and it is just a pleasure to drive. There are a few 'toys' which I would have chosen like cruise and leather, but the cruise sounds like a very easy fix.

Thanks for providing such a useful tool which people like me, who don't have much confidence or experience with fixing cars, can use to help avoid paying the dealerships too much of our hard earned cash.

Some of the threads I have read through show fantastic camaraderie and support.

Should I ever have problems, I feel confident that with the forum as my first port of call, I will either be able to get it sorted, or find out what needs sorting in a relatively short period of time.
