Hi bought a 50 quid

1995 cd 2.5 v6 manual estate ebay special for towing my rally car, although up to the vast sum of 300 quid but now its on the road mot'd.

Drives really nicely but fuel comumptions a bit of a fright compared to my 2.0 i6v astra sport estate.

Heard lots about using acetone in the fuel, anybody done this with a v6 and using who's fuel ?

Dad runs a 2.5 cdx saloon, lovely car but got a ticking noise from the engine, haven't been abkle to get down to him lately to check out but wondered if any likely suspects other than sticky tappets ?
