Real bad grating from front of the engine (Read 2710 times)

Hubcap Newbie Offline Posts: 2	Real bad grating from front of the engine 29. Oct 2006 at 10:32 I have a really bad grating noise from the fornt of the engine (2.5L) it seems to be coming from the centre pulley area. Is this the crankshaft pulley?

If the noise is coming from the large csntre pulley at the bottom front of the engine it is possibly your water pump on its way out. Whatever it is, as has already been said, dont run it without having it checked or a relatively small repair bill could become extremely large.
