Afternoon all!
14. Nov 2006 at 14:12

At last i've found the definitive help site, with loads of useful info and tips.

A few things i'm gonna be searching for

- How to change my bulbs in the dash (speed and tach) and the bulbs behind the Multi function display and the bulbs behind the LCD temp' display
- How to fit a DIY kit for cambelt change (heard autovaux is cheap, any ideas? Or a garage price if NE1 has had it done recently??)
- How to replace my aerial that is missing cos some nice chap snapped it clean off (no it wasn't the car wash! Grin )

Welcome to the site Padster Thumbs Up!

Cambelt change is similar on both the 2.2 and 2.0 and having done 2x 2.0 now its pretty straight forward I did mine with the advice given through members on here and the old site.

If you can get the parts from autovaux and are able to do it yourself you can save a bundle if and when you get the Cambelt done remember to get the waterpump replaced at the same time as its belt driven.

Also make sure that with the cambelt comes a new tensioner and pulleys as its usually the tensioner that goes.

Your other queries i think there plenty of advice available.

If you get stuck just post up there are plenty of helpful knowledgable people on here.

Hi Padster and welcome aboard Thumbs Up!

You should be able to pick up a replacement aerial from any decent car spares or car audio shop. I got a new one locally for around £10.00.
