i have a problem

hello just joined and must say this site is fantastic i am getting a lot of noise from my omega when i start the engin like a automatic choke or somthing it is a high pitched noise and takes 2 to 5 mins before it goes off it has just started out of know wear i was wondering if anybody has had the same problem or anyone may know what the problem might be it is a 1998 2.5 v6 cdx auto thanx
