Hi All..
16. Feb 2007 at 20:08

Just a quick message to say Hi. Just came across the forum and it looks like a real gold mine of Omega information.

I've had my MV6 for 6 weeks now and am very happy with it.

Unfortunately some muppet servicing the CCTV installation in a car park dropped his ladder on the bonnet this week  Cry . Until then it was lovely but he did have the decency to admit liability and give me his details so hopefully that'll be repaired soon.

Cheers,

Kevin

Crikey! Turn my back for a couple of days and the welcome messages have spilled onto page 2!

Thanks very much for the warm welcome, all.

Took my car to a local accident repair guy at the weekend and he reckons for the time it'll take him to get the crease out of the bonnet he may as well quote for a new one. I guess as long as he uses a decent quality panel and gets the colour match OK....

Cheers,

Kevin

No. He did say that he managed to pull it clear of the windscreen - and it hit the bonnet.

I think if it'd dissipated its' energy on the windscreen it would have been a better outcome personally.

Quote came through today. 903 quid!

Welcome M8, it could have been worse, it could have been mine.

Only joking at least the guy admitted it was his fault. Hope you get the money for the repair though. Undecided
