Cheeky Hello!
12. Jul 2007 at 17:48

Just a line to say Hi to fellow Omega owners.

Go me an MV6 Estate a few weeks ago and love it. W 2000 3.0 Estate Auto (85k) in Dark Green for £1,300 and I thought it was a bargin before I even drove it.  Now I know it is!

But, alas, it's developed a problem and now I've cheekily joined a forum so I can find some advice. Embarrassed

I'll have a read through old posts and see if there's anything first.  I'd hate to be one of those "Oh No....not another question on this!".

But I plan to hang on to the MV6 for a while, so it's great to find people with similar good sense when it comes to choosing a car!

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm at the edge of my ignorance here.............

I think it's prefacelift but I'm told that the wheels are the "MV6 special edition ones"

The wife prefers the elite wheels - but Birmingham is abit far to travel to make sure it's what everyone wants!  Grin

Welcome to the site Smiley

To find if its facelift - does it have the electric window switches on the drivers door (facelift) or around the gearstick (prefacelift)

I'd offer a free rocker cover gasket change, but your Omega doesn't have rockers. Nor does any overhead cam engine. Nah, you need to change your cam cover gaskets Grin

CheesyWelcome aboard TJ. I'd imagine it's a facelift on a W but Migs are strange creatures.

Thanks to everybody for the welcome.....

Twiddlejockey sounds a bit rude I know - if your mind works that way. Wink

I play with small aircraft - turning them upside down etc for fun.  I developed a habit of saying "I'm going to the flying club to 'ave a twiddle" - and got stuck with the nickname!
