Omega Lover

Thought it was about time to join as having driven my 10 year old Omega for 6 years (previous was a Cavalier owner) would like to try and keep it going a while longer and this forum seems to be the place to check things out.

The thing about Omegas is that you can drive from Glos to Glasgow and back and feel as if you have sat in an armchair all the way.

Have driven Peugeots 406 (TDi great drive, uncomfortable seats), Vectra (darned painful to drive for more than 10 minutes), Honda Civic (robust engine, but more thirsty than my 2.5 petrol and with short wheelbase feels like it hops about on the road), BMW 330D, (grips like velcro, but like all German cars, I find the seat as a bit too firm), Saabs (comfortable but too small).

So if I have to give up my current Omega will no doubt go for another.

Will be posting a question as I need to decide whether to spend anymore on the current tank or dip out and get a replacement.

A big welcome to the site. Like you I was looking for a replacement, Carlton 2.6 CDXi in my case, and the Omega fitted the bill.

Ask the questions, sure someone will know the answer. Thumbs Up!
Cool
