newbie greetings
07. Sep 2007 at 08:03

Hi     so I am sitting in traffic waiting for the green light when this guy shoves a card into the side window weatherstrip just as I set off    when I stopped it was a card about the Omega owners forum      so thanks to whoever it was  .... I have two Omegas    a '96 Polar sea blue 2.5 V6 CDX that I bought new which now has 70k miles on and an '02 Star siver 2.2 CD that I bought when it was twelve months old with 12k miles on it and it now has 107k up and still runs as smooth as the proverbial babies bottom ....
I live just outside Carlisle but travel around quite a lot with work, although I'm retiring in the next couple of months so the high mileage will reduce dramatically ..... and early next year one of the Omegas will go and my wife will continue to use the other for a while anyway      I'm buying myself a Jag.
well    enough for now      have a good day

Hi, i see some of your members have mentioned an upgrade for the autobox to improve the shifting. how or where can this be done. my gearbox has been removed and checked with no faults found. i live in the Kent area, my car is a 2001 2.6 Elite govenment car, full service history, 80,000 miles. the gearbox shifting is the only real problem on it.
