Wayne are your old ones in decent condition other than being broken internally if your going to bin them give me an idea how much you would want for them. Also remember you will posibly have to swap over the adjuster motors from the old to the new ones

Did you push hard when installing the new bulbs ?? If you did you probably broke the adjuster, thats what goes. The adjuster screw - metal - goes into a brittle plastic thingy which breaks if placed under too much stress. Be careful when installing bulbs is the answer !! The idea given above of superglueing is not - IMHO - a good one as you have now "fixed" the reflector and can no longer adjust the headlamps correctly. There are 2 adjustments - the mechanical setting as done for MOT, and the continuous adjustment from the ride sensor.

The price quoted for 2 new units is about right .. I paid £160 for 1 Sad

I know gluing was not the best option but as this is only the mechanical adjuster there should be no need to adjust them . As for the leveling this is done independently on ball joints so should not be affected  Thumbs Up!

Hi guys

my nice shiny new headlights came today, wil try and fit them both tomorrow
i have to remove the brand new bulbs from the old broken headlights and put them in my new ones
im scared about doing this! worried i might break me new lights!
do i just fit the new bulbs and then fit the new headlights to the car via the connectors and thats it?
someone said earlier about having to remove some "adjusters" off the old headlights and fit them onto my new ones?
how do i do that?
i have the 2.5 v6 estate, CDX model
