Did you push hard when installing the new bulbs ?? If you did you probably broke the adjuster, thats what goes. The adjuster screw - metal - goes into a brittle plastic thingy which breaks if placed under too much stress. Be careful when installing bulbs is the answer !! The idea given above of superglueing is not - IMHO - a good one as you have now "fixed" the reflector and can no longer adjust the headlamps correctly. There are 2 adjustments - the mechanical setting as done for MOT, and the continuous adjustment from the ride sensor.
The price quoted for 2 new units is about right .. I paid £160 for 1
