not technical Newbie Offline having twin's great Posts: 43 langold worksop, notts Gender: Drives: omega 1999 2ltr petrol estate	Noise in engine 27. Sep 2007 at 15:21 When i first start my car it like wines or somert like that isit normal.

just for a short while?

if so it's likely the secondary air system and is quite common. If it upsets you it can be disconnected - its just under the right hand side of the front bumper as you stand looking from the front.

if it doesn't stop after half a minute or so then further investigation needed (and potentially urgent).
